For Your Safety
When handling firearms in your home, be sure to close and lock your doors and draw the shades so no one including the police can see you.
Be sure to keep noise to a minimum such as TV sets, stereos, and loud talking when you are handling firearms in your home.
Never allow children to play with realistic looking toy guns or other toy weapons. Despite the fact that federal law requires that toy guns have a blaze orange tip on them, the tip often can be easily removed and could cause a tragic officer involved shooting.
During a traffic stop, always make sure that the police officer sees where your hands are. Also, never put your hands in your pockets in the presence of the police.
Always follow laws governing the transportation of firearms in your vehicle. Guns must be unloaded and properly cased. Avoid having any firearm, even if locked up and unloaded near you or your passenger in the front seat of the vehicle.
